Cathy M. Caito is originally from the little town of Marietta, Indiana.
Cathy was a homemaker for several years.  She took up cake decorating just to make her children’s birthday cakes and it became a business and a passion from there!
That was 25 years ago and it has been a growing business ever since! 
Cathy married Michael Caito in 2001 and he encouraged her to expand the cake business.  It has increased over 300% in the past 3 years.
Cathy has taken several classes from some of the world's top cake decorators like Collette Peters, Nicholas Lodge and  Linda Shonks of Sweet Art, Inc. 
Due to Cathy's unique imagination and creativity, she has earned a Bronze Ribbon at the Oklahoma National Sugar Arts Show and she was voted in the top three of Indy's A-List three years running.  She is also the preferred baker of many upscale banquet facilities in Indiana.
 
Cathy has gone from making a few birthday cakes to being a top sought after cake baker in Indiana.  She still has time to make those family cakes for her children and now she makes cakes for their children too.  She made beautiful wedding cakes for her daughters on their special days.  The wonderful thing about Cakes by Cathy is that she treats every cake that she makes as if it were being made for her son, daughters or grandchildren.
